Research Vessel REV
The new world longest MegaYacht has just hit the water. Measuring in at 182.9 meters long she will be 2.3 meters longer than Azzam, the old record holder. She is set to be the most advanced research ship in the world, being fitted out with the latest oceanography equipment, she will survey almost everything that lies beneath the waves. Espen Øino has helped design REV, insuring she will be able to complete the tasks at hand. Continuing on the theme of research and preservation of sea life, she has been designed to be as environmentally conscious as possible, being fitted with an exhaust cleaning system, an energy recovery rudder system and medium speed engines. She is set to be completed in 2020.
