Flying Fox: The world’s most expensive charter yacht
Flying Fox is the world’s largest yacht available for charter. The 136-metre, six deck Lürssen towers 32 metres above the waterline. With the design being done by Espen Øino it contains a spectacular array of spaces, designed with originality.
The whole aft end of the yacht is dedicated to two decks of on-water fun and relaxation. Guests enter a 22.5-metre wide bathing platform and into a fully equipped spa. With heated limestone floors and louvred oak panelling, the centrepiece of the 400 square-metre “sea lobby”, is a vast spa pool of which the water can be changed from steaming to icy in about 10 minutes so it can be used as a plunge pool following a hammam or sauna.
Between the fold-down balconies off of the sea lobby, you will also find a kite surf store and dive centre with every piece of kit imaginable. The fun continues in the tender garage which holds five tenders and a treasure trove of toys from flyboards and hoverboards to Seabobs and windsurfs. There is even a place for the personal submarine.
With 10 guest suites that open onto the long side decks (which can all be separated into broad fixed balconies via hidden sliding panels), a clean and contemporary design, helipad, over sized swimming pool, winter garden, cinema with D-box seating, and so many more amenities on offer, this really is a boat to offer something to everyone.
